My number 1 fan and long time friend Oscar Zambrana and the Barra Brava, The Screaming Eagles, La Norte, District Ultra’s and everyone here that has been supportive of myself and D.C. United over the years. I don’t have enough words to thank you all: Over the years you have dedicated yourselves to D.C. United. You stuck with us through the good and the bad, you rode the storm and you continue to ride the storm, and I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I ask that you continue your support for a team that will hold a place in my heart forever.

D.C. United needs you!
It takes a true fan base to keep a quality team. You guys are and will always be the best fans Major League Soccer will ever have.I will take lots of special memories with me and I will be back to rock the stands, play the drums, and cheer on a team that I know will regain its confidence and keep winning trophy’s. Once again , Thank You!

D.C. United / M.L.S.
Saturday was a very emotional day for me as my playing days with D.C. United came to an end, but also a happy one as we gathered together at Bar 19th for the unveiling of the 99 Dreams 1 Heart Foundation.
It has been a rough few months for me, It breaks my heart to walk away from a place that I call home, a team that I have so much passion for, but most of all! my team mates and staff that I love so much. I can’t thank D.C. United and Major League Soccer enough for 15 years of service and allowing me the opportunities to succeed in the game that I love.

I would like to thank all of you from M.L.S. along with D.C. United for all of your hard work, dedication and professionalism shown towards myself and the club, as well as the friendships we have formed over the years. I will miss you all!

Will Chang,
Thank you for putting everything into this team, we really couldn’t have asked for a better owner! I wish I could have helped turn things around over the last few years, and it pains me to know that I couldn’t and that I apologize for. I hope that one day D.C. United makes you the happiest man alive and I hope to be a part of the organization when it happens.

Kevin Payne,
Thank you for believing in me for so many years, I wish it could have ended with a trophy, but it wasn’t to be. From day 1 your family welcomed us with open arms and that I am very grateful for.
As a team and family we have achieved so much, I wish you & your family well and may the legacy continue!

Teammates from old to new,
What can I say?
I will miss being with you all and sharing the jokes, you guy’s are the one’s that made it easy for me to come to work every day with a smile on my face, without all of you I wouldn’t be where I am today. We were goofballs in the locker room but when we stepped on the field we always set out to do our job in a professional manner. I wish you all well in the coming season and your future endeavors.
Believe in yourselves! I love you and I will miss you all!

All my former Coaches,
Bruce, Thomas, Peter, all the way down to Benny.
So many special memories over the years, Thank you for bringing the best out in me, not just as a player but as a person too. I couldn’t have performed the way I did without your guidance.
Ben, you have done a great job over the last 2 months, it’s not an easy job to take on when you’re losing games repeatedly. You’ve handled it well and earned respect from everyone in the locker room.
You can count on my support and friendship in the future. Thanks to all of you

To my fans, friends and family,

Today is an emotional day for me. I’d love to hear what you think. I have some regrets, I do, I be lying if I said I didn’t. That being said, I have more amazing and memorable moments than most people have in a lifetime. I am truely blessed, I know. Not sure what the future holds, I’ll take it day by day until the season ends. I still want to play, I’ve got another year in me for sure. Mentally and physically I still have the passion and the love of the game to continue. Only time will tell. Stay tuned!

“I would like to offer a big thank you to everyone who has been a part of my time at D.C. United. “Thank you to the fans for supporting me through all the years and to all of the people that make up D.C. United – my teammates, my coaches, the staff and everyone else. A special thank you to Barra Brava and the Screaming Eagles for all your support while wearing the black and red. You’ve been fantastic. I’m thankful to have been given the opportunity to be a part of this organization.”

I look forward to the next era, you should too!

God bless and Thank You for the love & loyalty.

Washington, DC

Every time that I think I have witnessed the last unthinkable, beautiful moment of Jaime Moreno’s glorious career, he comes up with something new and astonishing. Who else in MLS could have pulled off his shoulder fake to force the goalie to drop the ball at his foot? Chris Seitz is a good goalie, but, if he plays for 100 more years, he will never have another mistake like that one. Only Jaime could have made it happen: only Jaime. Read More…
